Waiting For Godot

Length: 2 hrs 00 mins Intermission: Yes Seating: General Admission You choose your seats when you get to the theater.
The Award-winning Classical Theatre of Harlem presents Samuel Beckett’s seminal theatrical work WAITING FOR GODOT. Two tramps meet on the side of the road. The two men remember that they are supposed to wait under a tree on a Saturday for a man named Godot; they do not remember the man named Godot very well, but they think he was going to give them an answer to a question that they don't know.
WAITING FOR GODOT revolutionized theatre in the twentieth century and had a profound influence on generations of succeeding dramatists. Directed by CTH Co-Founder Christopher McElroen (The Blacks), WAITING FOR GODOT features a stellar cast that includes OBIE Winner J. Kyle Manzay and Wendell Pierce, star of HBO's hit show "The Wire", Chris McKinney (Light Raise the Roof at New York Theatre Workshop) and Billy Eugene Jones (Broadway: Gem of the Ocean and A Raisin in the Sun). Performances are held Wednesdays – Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 3pm, now - June 25, 2006 at the HSA Theatre located at 647 St. Nicholas Ave. (141st Street). |
